CCNA 200-301

Earning a Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification is the best way for you to prepare for a successful career in networking. Which is a great reason all by itself. But there are lots more.

So read on, and discover the many advantages of a CCNA Routing and Switching certification—and the many reasons why you should earn one.

What You Will Learn

This course presents the concept, commands, and practice required to configure Cisco switches and routers in multiprotocol internetworks. Through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, exercises, and laboratory projects, students are given information sufficient to identify and recommend the best Cisco solutions for small to medium-sized businesses.

Students perform all basic configuration procedures to build a multirouter, multigroup internetwork that uses LAN and WAN interfaces for the most commonly used routing and routed protocols. ICND provides the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting information that technical support people require to install and configure Cisco products

This course is intended for students new to Cisco products. Network technicians, Network administrators, network support staff, Help desk personnel, network device installers, CCNA ® candidates and CCNP ® candidates

A basic knowledge of data networking

A basic understanding of networking concepts and terminology

An exposure to IP or IPX networking

Experience working within a networked environment

This program will be conducted with interactive lectures, PowerPoint presentation, discussions and practical exercise

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to :

Determine in which situations a hub, switch or router would be more appropriately used.

Use Cisco software to identify addresses, protocols, and connectivity status in a network containing multiple interconnected Cisco devices.

Interconnect Cisco switches and routers according to a given network design specification

Configure Cisco switches and routers to support a specified lit of protocols and technologies

Configure access lists to control access to network devices or segments and general network traffic
